Psychosocial Intervention and Support Groups

You need to talk to someone?
You want to solve your drinking problems or other difficulties?
You want to take a step towards wellness?
You feel lonely with your problems?
These services are for you!

Psychosocial Intervention and Support Groups services are based on a culturally relevant and safe approach for the Indigenous community members. They are provided by a team of mixed intervention workers and supervised by the Friendship Centre’s professional services and clinic.

  • Offered on an individual, couple, family or group basis.
  • Psychosocial interventions and assistance according to the nature of the needs.

Support Groups

Support groups are groups open to all that allow people to break isolation, share experiences and connect with others. These circles are supported by a team of mixed intervention workers who, depending on the type of need, will enable participants to find answers to some of their personal challenges.
