A demonstration of solidarity between peoples
March 21 is designated as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. The Val-d’Or Indigenous Friendship Centre organises the annual Action Week Against Racism, which includes an activity program organised in March with several partners. This anti-racism awareness campaign culminates in the Gabriel-Commanda Walk, a solidarity event that rallies the population around this social issue.
